Scholastic Book Fair
Dear Sombra Families:
I am excited to tell you this year’s Scholastic Book Fair will be November 18th through November 22nd in Sombra’s library. Students may purchase books from the book fair:
• during your child’s scheduled library time.
• during recess: 10:30-10:45am (3rd-5th) Mon-Fri and 10:45-11am (K-2nd) Wednesday-Friday.
• during afternoon recess: 2:35-2:50 (3rd-5th) Thursday-Friday and 2:55-3:10pm (K-2) Thurs-Fri
• after school each day until 5pm - Come through the library door on Shoshone. Students must be accompanied by an adult.
• Thursday November 21st 10:45-1:30pm. This is during Sombra’s Family Thanksgiving luncheon.
Student backpacks are not allowed in the book fair. Payment must be cash, credit card or eWallet. Personal checks CANNOT be accepted. Click the link above: "Sombra's 2024-25 Book Fair Information" for instructions for setting up an eWallet account for your child. eWallet is a cash-free digital payment account for an amount you decide. The student tells me they have an eWallet and they can use the funds.
